New Design for a Fuel Cell Powered Air Cruiser Unveiled

Seymourpowell, the designer behind the Intelligent Energy ENV fuel cell motorbike, has unvielled its new concept. This time the designers are targeting slow travel - but in style.

The Aircruise Known as a giant and elegant “Clipper in the Clouds” airship harvests solar energy, and is powered by an onboard fuel cell fuelled by 330,000 cubic metres of on borad Hydrogen.

The airship can cruise at around 90mph, which means a journey from London to New York will take about 37 hours.

Integrating four duplex apartments and five smaller apartments with a penthouse apartment, Bar/Lounge/communal areas, the Aircruise creates a luxury hotel in the skies. At 30m high, the giant airship features glass floors that offer breathtaking views from the sky.
