Shell, GM and NY agency open third hydrogen refuelling station in NY
The third planned hydrogen fuelling station in New York City has been opened in the Bronx. The station is the result of a partnership between Shell, General Motors, and the Department of Sanitation in New York City (DSNY). GM's trial of fuel cell hybrid electric vehicles, Project Driveway, has participants in the New York area and the cluster of stations with one in White Plains, one at JFK Airport, and now a third in the Bronx is meant to extend the range of the Equinox.
