Idatech partner deploys 43 backup power units in Mexico
MICROM, Idatech's Latin American partner, has deployed 43 fuel cell units for backup power to TelCell, a Mexican mobile service provider. The units will provide reliable backup power for mobile phone base stations and will be fuelled using hydrogen provided onsite. The fuel cell systems are expected to be more reliable and require less maintenance than traditional battery and diesel generators.
