Toshiba's Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Could hit the Japanese Market Next Month
It has been press released that Toshiba Corp. plans to market a palm-sized DMFC for recharging pf mobile phones and portable music players as early as April.
Though the initial price is expected to be about 20,000 - 30,000 yen (US$200-300) , this is expected to come down to about 10,000 yen (US$100).
In fiscal 2009, Toshiba is aiming to develop an even smaller fuel cell and sell laptops and mobile phones equipped with the new device.
