Jadoo Power names Dr. Allison Fisher senior fuel cell systems scientist

Jadoo Power Systems announced Friday that Allison Fisher, PhD has been named the company’s Senior Fuel Systems Scientist.

Dr. Fisher will further the development of new fuels at Jadoo Power, one of the key paths the company is taking to advance their fuel cell technologies.

Dr. Fisher has a broad technical background applied to the design, synthesis, and characterization of materials for proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells, photovoltaics, chemical sensors, and molecular electronics.  She spent the last 10 years in development of PEM fuel cell architectures, membrane electrode assemblies (MEA), and fuel advancements.  Prior to joining Jadoo Power, Dr. Fisher developed fuel cell stacks for portable power systems including micron-scale 3D PEM fuel cell MEA architectures consisting of 6 stacks of 600 cell arrays in the space of 1cm2 for cell phone applications.

“With her ten patents in fuel cell stack systems and various fuels, Dr. Fisher brings a great deal of expertise to our advanced technology team.  We’re excited she has joined us to further our work in chemical hydrides and the development of new and better fuels,” stated Mack Knobbe, the company’s Vice President of Engineering.

Dr. Fisher was a National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Chicago and holds a Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from the University of Colorado.
