SFC Reports Sale of 10,000th EFOY Fuel Cell
SFC Smart Fuel Cell, supplier of fuel cell products for mobile and off-grid power applications, reports that the 10,000th EFOY fuel cell will be delivered to a French motor home owner on 8 October. SFC, along with Trigano daughter Euro Accessories, also announced the establishment of an EFOY service station in France.
The EFOY fuel cell comes in four models with a charging capacity from 600 to 1,600 Wh per day for use in motor homes, sailboats, and holiday and mountain cabins. The company reports that it is available as standard or optional equipment in 37 motor home manufacturers' catalogues, and that they are sold at over 800 sales points in Europe, where customers can also buy the 5 or 10 litre fuel cartridges. Since September 2008 SFC has also offered the new EFOY Pro series for professional industrial users. This series, which has three models with a charging capacity from 600 to 1,600 Wh per day, was developed to meet the requirements of off-grid industrial systems like security cameras, measuring and early warning sensors, and traffic systems.
