Copenhagen Plans to Purchase 18 Hydrogen Vehicles

The Municipality of Copenhagen plans to purchase fourteen hydrogen-electric personal vehicles and four hydrogen-electric utility vehicles in the next year.  The municipality placed an EU call for tenders for the vehicles, which must be in operation and coordinated with the establishment of a hydrogen fueling station, before November 1, 2009. The tender indicates that the contractor must work with the Municipality of Copenhagen to launch and show vehicles for the 2009 Climate Summit to be held in Copenhagen.
