Briggs to be Millennium Cell's new CEO

Millennium Cell has announced the appointment of Adam Briggs as chief executive officer.

The move will be made effective at the time of its annual meeting in April 2008.

Mr Briggs has also been nominated by the board of directors to be put up for the slate of directors. The vote on this is due to take place at the annual meeting.

Meanwhile, the company's current chief executive officer and board member David Ramm will assume the position of chairman of Millennium Cell's board of directors when his resignation as CEO becomes effective.

Mr Briggs is now serving as Millennium Cell president.
