Wood and Brown join Ceres Power's board of non-executive directors
According to Brian Count, Ceres Power's non-executive chairman, the new additions will help the company as it moves towards commercialisation.
Mr Wood has chaired a number of CBI councils, the EEF Economic Committee and the Wood Review into EU Public Procurement, and is currently non-executive chairman of Siemens Holdings.
Meanwhile, Sir David is attached to a number of government advisory bodies concerning the electronics industry, and was appointed chairman of Motorola Limited in 1997.
"I am delighted that Alan and David have agreed to join the board and their experience and knowledge will be invaluable in supporting the group's transition to commercialisation where it can compete in both the UK and international markets," commented Mr Count.
"These appointments complete the reshaping of the Board for the challenges ahead."
Mr Count went on to pay tribute to John Gunn, who retired on February 4th after serving six years as a non-executive director for the company.
