NexTech CEO gets TopCat award
TechColumbus' 2007 TopCat award for Executive of the Year has gone to Bill Dawson, CEO of NexTech.
NexTech is a leading developer and supplier to the fuel cell industry and aims to be a global leader in the development and manufacture of innovative products to solve energy and environmentally-related problems.
Mr Dawson thanked the tech communities in Columbus and Ohio for supporting his growing business.
NexTech's fuel cell stack development team, led by Dr Michael Day, had also been nominated in the category for Outstanding Technology Team but lost out to Battelle.
Dr Scott Schwartz, NexTech CTO, said: "It is a huge honour for NexTech to have two members of our management team selected as finalists for these prestigious awards.
"Bill Dawson's leadership has been instrumental in taking NexTech to the next level and the innovations and achievements of Mick Day's engineering team have put NexTech at the forefront of fuel cell technology."
