Edward Norton to drive BMW Hydrogen 7

Hollywood actor Edward Norton has become the latest celebrity to be given the keys to a BMW Hydrogen 7.

While not yet available commercially, BMW is hopeful that by raising the profile of the Hydrogen 7 - the first hydrogen-powered luxury sedan - it can stimulate demand for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.

As such, luminaries including Will Ferrell, Jay Leno and Brad Pitt have also been seen out and about in the technologically-advanced motor vehicle.

Norton has long been an advocate of clean energy solutions, and teamed up with oil giant and solar-panel producer BP to develop the Solar Neighbours Programme in 2003.

"The excitement of this car to me is that it demonstrates what we're capable of, and it inspires me to keep advocating for a more sustainable way of life," he commented.
