Dennis West Jr appointment brings number of FuelCell Energy directors to 10

FuelCell Energy has added Togo Dennis West Jr to its board of directors.

Mr West, 65, is currently chairman of the board of both Noblis and TLI Leadership Group and has served in three presidential administrations.

Under president Gerald Ford, Mr West was associate deputy general in the US Department of Justice; he performed a number of roles including general counsel of the navy in the administration of president Jimmy Carter; and secretary of the army and later secretary of veterans' affairs under president Bill Clinton.

Mr West also forged a career in private practice, and was a partner at the New York law firm Patterson, Belknap, Webb and Tyler.

"We're delighted to welcome Secretary West to our board," said R Daniel Brdar, chairman and CEO of FuelCell Energy.

"He brings a wealth of experience in both the public and private sector to our board."

There are now ten members of FuelCell Energy's board of directors.
