Horizon joins with Corgi to develop green toys of the future

Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies and Corgi International have entered into a strategic partnership which will allow Corgi to utilise Horizon's fuel cell technology expertise to develop a range of environmentally-friendly, green-powered toy vehicles.

The move was announced at the opening of the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair.

"This partnership with Corgi International is a hugely exciting step for Horizon and provides a unique opportunity to take fuel cell technology out of the laboratory and into millions of homes around the world," commented Taras Wankewycz, vice president of Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies.

Horizon has already had success with its H2 racer, a palm-sized fuel cell car launched in 2006.

The toy car, which can be refuelled using a mini hydrogen fuelling station, is currently the world's best-selling fuel cell product.
