Dynetek supplies Compressed Energy Systems with Natural Gas BT modules

Dynetek Industries has announced that it has delivered its first Natural Gas Bulk Transport (BT) modules to the US using its US Department of Transport (DoT) certified cylinders.

The modules will be used by Compressed Energy Systems to transport natural gas from stranded gas reservoirs.

Dynetek is currently the only company which has Type 3 lightweight US DoT-approved Natural Gas BT modules.

The BT system offers a unique storage advantage as its DyneCell cylinder is light, non-permeable and exhibits only limited expansion under pressure and temperature change.

DyneCell cylinders have been approved by the US DoT for use in the transport of a number of gases including natural gas, hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, oxygen and compressed air.

"The advantage of using Dynetek's lightweight modules in the bulk transport of natural gas is the increased amount of gas transported with each load," commented Chris Schimp, president of Compressed Energy Systems.

Dynetek specialises in the design, production and marketing of advanced fuel storage and refuelling systems for compressed natural gas, low emission vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
