Dynatek delivers Tube Trailer System for IWHUP

Dynatek Industries has delivered its 450 bar Hydrogen Tube Trailer System to be used in the Integrated Waste Hydrogen Utilisation Project (IWHUP), it has been announced.

The Dynatek BT450 Tube Trailer System makes use of removable modules which will enable it to transport hydrogen to different locations along the hydrogen highway in British Columbia.

According to the firm, this will lead to customers being able to refuel their hydrogen-powered vehicles more easily and cost effectively.

"This project is an example of how Dynatek has solved the refuelling challenge for hydrogen-powered vehicles, which are contributing to a cleaner environment today," commented Dr Christian Rasche, Dynetek's president and CEO.

The IWHUP will operate eight light-duty trucks, hydrogen fuel cell cars and hydrogen stationary power fuel cells as part of the two year demonstration phase of the initiative.

It is playing a key part in the development of the British Columbia hydrogen highway, an attempt by Canada and British Columbia to propagate the adoption of hydrogen technologies.
