Antig and DMFCC to collaborate in fuel cell development

Antig and Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corporation (DMFCC) have signed a teaming agreement concerning the development of fuel cell systems which will utilise both Antig's micro fuel cell stacks and DMFCC's fuel cell cartridges.

The move was announced by Viaspace, DMFCC's parent company.

According to Dr Carl Kukkonen, the CEO of both Viaspace and DMFCC, the initiative will result in fuel cell products reaching the marketplace more quickly.

"Our teaming agreement with Antig is a key example of DMFCC's continued expansion of its global business strategy," he furthered.

"We are partnering with top organisations around the globe that have a good reputation and the trust of customers in their own markets."

Meanwhile, Brent McKendry, Antig's CEO, believes the collaboration will be particularly beneficial for customers.

"We are pleased to have this opportunity to work closer with DMFCC and believe it brings added value to all our partners who are currently building fuel cell systems," he commented.
