Siemens and EnBW to Install 1MW Fuel Cell Power Plant by 2012

Germany energy giant Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg (EnBW) and Siemens Power Generation have announced plans to co-develop a 70% fuel to power efficient MW fuel cell hybrid power plant by 2012.

Next year, 2008, will see the finishing of the initial ground work with a pilot plant to follow. The goal is to then, by 2012, have a hybrid-SOFC MW power plant up and running.
