Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition announces new board members
The appointments have seen executives from several fuel cell development companies made board members, including Scott Wilshire from HydroGen and Katrina Fritz from Plug Power, as well as academics currently involved in fuel cell technology research.
William Dawson, the current president and chief executive of NexTech Materials, has also been given the position of board chairman.
Commenting on the new appointments, the OFCC's executive director Ken Alfred said that for Ohio's fuel cell industry to advance, it was important to have the right people involved in the OFCC board.
"We are lucky to have such an outstanding group of experienced leaders in fuel cell research and commercialisation joining our efforts at OFCC," he said.
According to the OFCC, the coalition consists of more than 85 organisations, representing researchers, developers, manufacturers and component suppliers, with its aim to bring these individuals together in a collaborative effort to further advance fuel cell technology.
