Organisation - FuelCon AG
For years, the FuelCon name has stood for extraordinary product quality "Made in Germany", high technical standard, and dedication to customer service and innovation. This has made us one of the leading global suppliers of test and diagnostic systems for fuel cells, batteries and super capacitors. With offices in Europe, North America and Asia, FuelCon is an owner-managed, independent company with worldwide operations.
The FuelCon product series “Evaluator” covers test rigs for all typical fuel cell technologies like PEM, DMFC, SOFC or MCFC in a power range between a few watts up to 150kW fuel cell performance. The test stations enable the comparison and evaluating of different fuel cells, the optimization of fuel cells and systems as well as the simulation of various requirements for portable, stationary and mobile applications. In addition, test runs for accelerated stressing and aging of test items can be executed to achieve reliable results regarding degradation, system performance and long-term stability.
All FuelCon test stations are equipped with a PC/PLC control and multi-level alarm handling to assure fully automated, safe and unattended test station operation. The sophisticated and flexible software FuelWork not only provides data management over SQL-database, but also easy development of automated, time and incident controlled test runs over visual-basic scripts.
In order to enhance the testing capabilities of the test stations, diagnostic tools of the TrueData product line can be integrated. The TrueData series consists of several innovative diagnostic instruments that are specially developed for the characterization of fuel cells, batteries and super capacitors. The core item TrueData-EIS allows determining impedance spectrums within a frequency range between 200µHz and 100kHz and therefore supports evaluating deterioration and durability processes. The optional Multiplex-Module TrueData-MUX enables the easy and cost-optimized realization of multi-channel measurement.
Furthermore, FuelCon provides engineering and testing services for fuel cells and batteries.

- Organisation Description
FuelCon is a leading global supplier of test and diagnostic systems for fuel cells, batteries and super capacitors. The test systems are not only applicable for material characterization of single cells and material samples, but also for testing energy converters, system components and complete systems.
The Evaluator-LT and Evaluator-HT test station lines for low and high temperature fuel cells provide testing of components, single cells, stacks and complete fuel cell systems as well as hot-box modules.
The Evaluator-B product line covers test systems for the fully automated evaluation of small and large batteries as well as battery systems for electric vehicle or hybrid electric vehicle. This includes features such as charge-discharge operation with constant current, voltage or power as well as freely definable ramps or utilization cycles.
With the product line TrueData, FuelCon offers additional diagnostic equipment for fuel cells and batteries, that easily integrate into the Evaluator test stations and operate as a stand alone device, as well. The TrueData line includes the electronic impedance spectrum analyzer TrueData-EIS, the modular electronic load TrueData-LOAD, the cell voltage monitoring TrueData-CVM and the current density distribution analyzer TrueData-CDD.
