Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (CFCL) is a publicly listed company developing planar solid oxide fuel cells and fuel cell components. Specialising in anode and electrolyte supported fuel cells; CFCL’s 1kW modular stacks are being optimised for operation on natural gas and also have the capability to operate on LPG, bio-fuels and other hydrocarbon fuels.

CFCL also has considerable experience with fuel cell safety systems and balance-of-plant components meaning that CFCL’s technologies have the potential to meet significant market demand in Europe, UK, US and Asia for clean highly efficient and reliable electricity. With over 14 years in SOFC technology and 9,000 square metres of facilities in Melbourne, (Australia) - CFCL also has one of the world's largest solid oxide fuel cell testing resources with 50 test stations that operate on natural gas and a number of balance-of-plant test stations that are used to verify full-scale system components. CFCL is now in the process of scaling up manufacturing capabilities for high-volume production of fuel cells.
