Intelligent Energy has started a collaboration with telecommunications company, Etisalat Nigeria. The companies will work together to test personal energy devices powered by Intelligent Energy’s fuel cell technology, with an Etisalat user trial to commence this quarter.

The Nikkei reports that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is to set up a 10 billion yen fund to subsidise households and businesses that install energy-saving devices, to start next month. The Ene-Farm residential fuel cell system will be eligible.
