Ballard Signs MoU with WEG Industries to Bring Fuel Cell Products to Brazil

Ballard Power Systems has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Brazilian multinational industrial outfit WEG Industries. The Jaragua do Sul headquartered business operates primarily in the electrical engineering, power and automation technology industries.
The two companies will work to identify and evaluate market opportunities for hydrogen fuel cell products and services in Brazilian applications related to WEG’s businesses and technologies in such vertical markets as bus, rail and mining.
