Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is to request billions of yen in the next fiscal year budget for the development of a cost-effective hydrogen supply system, to support the widespread introduction of fuel cell electric vehicles. It will also back the construction of 100 hydrogen refuelling stations by 2015.
