Intelligent Energy Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

LOUGHBOROUGH, UK, 19th October, 2011 -
Intelligent Energy, the global clean power systems company,
announced today that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 Certification for its global
headquarters and main delivery site at Loughborough in the UK.
The successful completion of the rigorous testing process
required to achieve certification is an endorsement of Intelligent
Energy's commitment to delivering the highest standard of service
and quality of products to its customers and partners, and a
demonstration of its continued growth and commercial maturity.
The ISO 9000 family of
standards relates to quality management systems and is designed to
help organisations meet the needs of customers and other
stakeholders. Achieving ISO9001:2008
certification validates Intelligent Energy's adherence to
documented processes and procedures that ensure continuous
improvements to customer service delivery. The final assessment was
carried out by UKAS (United
Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited certifier, the British
Standards Institution (BSI).
