Fuel Cell Audi A7 to Begin Trials in August

The Volkswagen Group is to begin trials of a fuel cell powered Audi A7 at the end of August, it has been confirmed. The news was revealed during an interview between Audi’s technical chief Wolfgang Dürheimer and Autocar. It was only in March that the Volkswagen Group re-entered the fuel cell space with a long-term engineering services contract with Ballard Power Systems, so the fuel cell A7 is a rapid development of this agreement. Further details of the vehicle can be expected closer to August.
