Truma Releases ‘VeGA Plus’ Fuel Cell for Motorcaravans

07 Jan 2013

Truma VeGA

Truma’s fuel cell system, the VeGA, has been equipped with an additional module which ensures that the device can be controlled via an external energy management system and is also suitable for use with lithium-ion batteries.

The new model, the VeGA Plus, is therefore perfectly designed for energy management systems in large motorhomes and caravans.  The VeGA fuel cell system has been available since the Caravan Salon 2012. It offers a self-sufficient power supply for recreational vehicles and is the first system that runs on liquid gas, with a charging capacity of 6,000 Wh per day and a 20 A charging current.

The VeGA Plus is available from all authorised Truma dealers from this month or from various motorcaravan manufacturers when a new vehicle is purchased.
