Horizon Launches Smartphone-Controlled Fuel Cell Toy Car

28 Jan 2013

Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies has launched what it claims is the world’s most technologically advanced toy car: the i-H2GO. The car is controlled using an iOS or Android smartphone; users can use their phone’s gyroscope to steer the car by tilting. The car comes with a miniature hydrogen station, which can be powered using a solar panel or by USB. The car takes 30 seconds to fuel and can then drive for five minutes. The toy will begin shipping in March and Horizon is currently accepting enquiries from retailers and distributors. A recommended retail price has yet to be announced.
