Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited Releases Quarterly Trading Update

CFCL has publishes its quarterly trading update for the period to 31st December 2012. Its BlueGen micro combined heat and power (micro-CHP) solid oxide fuel cell unit is enjoying strong political support in both Germany and the UK, and has recently won a number of awards. Other highlights from the quarter include:
The introduction of a capital subsidy scheme in North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) - CFCL expects this to reduce the installed cost of a BlueGen unit to commercial customers in NRW by €10,000.
Feed-in tariffs in the UK applicable to m-CHP units like BlueGen have been increased.
CFCL appointed the energy services company iPower to target the UK social housing market.
CFCL expanded its sales resource in Europe and realigned operational activities to reduce overheads.
