ITM Power Sells First Hydrogen Generator in Japan

HPac40ITM Power has announced the sale of its first hydrogen production unit to an unnamed Japanese company. The unit is from its HPac range and can generate hydrogen at a rate of between 1.3 kg and 5 kg per day with a purity of 99.99% via the electrolysis of demineralised water. ITM’s CEO Graham Cooley said his company is hoping for greater involvement in the Japanese market as the country progresses its adoption of hydrogen as a fuel.
