FuelCell Energy Ramping up Production

FCE Manufacturing Plant

FuelCell Energy (FCE) has announced it is currently ramping up its production capacity for molten carbonate fuel cell technology. It is aiming to reach a capacity of 70 MW per year for its stationary fuel cell systems by May 2013 and is attributing the need to increased demand both in its domestic market and overseas (South Korea).

As a result of this increase, FCE expects to report revenues for its second fiscal quarter ended April 30, 2013 in the range of $38 to $40 million. This compares favourably to total revenues of $36.4 million reported for the quarter ended January 31, 2013 and $24.2 million reported for the quarter ended April 30, 2012.
