US NortheastCreating a plan to implement a hydrogen infrastructure in the US Northeast and Mid-Atlantic – this will be the challenge for competitors entering the 2013 Annual Hydrogen Student Design Contest. The DOE-supported contest, now in its ninth edition, is asking students to follow the example led by the recently released California Road Map for hydrogen refuelling stations by creating a similar plan for the Northeastern United States.

The winning team will win an expenses-paid trip to present their entry to hundreds of industry professionals in a session at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo 2013, which is being held in Washington DC from June 24–27. Registration for the competition is open until October 1.
