AFC Energy Appoints Manager for New Fuel Cell Production Facility

24 May 2012

AFC Energy has appointed Nick Yeomans to lead the management of its new fuel cell production facility, the first of five new roles being created by the developer of low-cost alkaline fuel cells.

Nick joins AFC with more than twenty years’ experience in manufacturing. He will be responsible for ensuring that AFC’s new production facility (announced in March) delivers higher volumes of alkaline fuel cells for existing and planned commercial projects.

Following Nick Yeomans’ appointment, AFC is beginning a recruitment campaign to bring in at least four additional high-tech jobs including scientists and engineers as well as support staff for the production facility at Dunsfold, taking the total employee count to 36. The company is stepping up its commercialisation activities which require increased production of fuel cells and cartridges.
