Fuel Cell Company Intelligent Energy Valued at $0.5 Billion

Intelligent Energy in the UK has completed another round of funding, raising in excess of $35million (£22 million) from existing and new institutional shareholders. The investment values the company (on a fully diluted basis) at approximately $0.5 billion (around £300 million).

The valuation was reported in the UK’s Financial Times and the Telegraph, among others, reflecting an increasing awareness of fuel cells in the mainstream press and among investors.
