ReliOn Fuel Cell Integrated into Hybrid Power System Test Facility

20 Aug 2012

Alpha Energy HPSRenewable energy solutions company Alpha Energy is integrating a ReliOn E-2500 fuel cell system into its Hybrid Power System (HPS) Test Facility in Bellingham, Washington. The facility simulates demanding off-grid environments and provides test engineers with an accurate, real-time representation of how certain products will perform in the field. Built in spring 2010, the facility is an outdoor laboratory featuring a 7.5 kW wind turbine, photovoltaics, a backup battery bank and a DC power plant.

If the ReliOn system meets Alpha Energy’s rigorous performance standard it will be evaluated for implementation into future product offerings.
