Location
San Jose Convention Center
Country

Description

The Distributed Generation Technology Conference will focus on clean energy generation technologies with an emphasis on on-site power generation technologies that can provide clean, reliable, affordable and highly efficient energy supply options that protect human health and the global environment. This conference will provide businesses and communities with an awareness of the latest technological developments as well as potential solutions to their energy needs here on the West Coast.

The conference will attract end-users of energy who will be provided with information on regulatory and environmental drivers for purchasing on-site generation; examples of available generation options; and expected future developments in this arena (technical and regulatory). The conference will also provide a forum for discussion of potential financing opportunities, as well as technical barriers and roadblocks that must be overcome to achieve full commercial availability. The conference audience will include government and private energy users, as well as utilities and regulators.

A highlight of the conference will be the expo hall which will showcase manufacturers of leading on-site generation technologies as well as energy integrators who will display information on the status of these technologies. Representatives will be available to answer questions and address potential customer needs. Technologies represented will include Solar PV, Fuel Cells, Biodiesel, and Microturbines.
