Fuel Cell Scooters: Eliminating a Major Source of Pollution

This study investigates 1) the market opportunities, 2) the design features, and 3) the technical performance of a scooter powered by Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells.

Market research was conducted in Bangkok, Thailand. A low-power scooter was designed and tested for the analysis. It is based on more extensive research at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Princeton University [W.
