General Motors unveils new Fuel Cell Stack at Grove Conference, London

On 13 September 2001 General Motors announced that it had developed a new PEM fuel cell stack, with improved performance characteristics over previous examples.

GM has developed a new 100kW PEM fuel cell stack, that is easily packagable in today's automobiles. It has a power output of 1.75kW per litre, a 10% improvement over previous units. No cathode humidification is required. Check back later for more details.
