Overview
The House of Commons provided a high profile location for the launch of a flagship clean energy project for the Isle of Wight called EcoIsland. The project aims to position the Isle of Wight as a net energy exporter by 2020 through the integration of its renewable energy supplies through a smart grid to intelligent distributed power devices and clean transportation.
